The cube, made from German quality steel, is the heart of the Pacarada modular system. Its internationally patented plug-in and screw connection joins the modules precisely, quickly and without welding on site.
Built for reuse
The connections stay detachable. Modules can be dismantled, recombined and reused elsewhere.
At the heart of modular construction by Pacarada Modular Building Systems is the cube structure, made from German quality steel. Each cube sits where modules meet and transfers loads from one module to the next.
It is not an accessory but the structural principle: because the joint lives in the cube rather than in a weld, the same system serves a single-storey building and a high-rise alike.
The internationally patented plug-in and screw system joins the modules precisely, quickly and safely. Plug connections also simplify electrical installation considerably.
Doing without welding on site shortens assembly and reduces its dependence on weather and on the availability of certified welders. What is prefabricated in the factory is only joined on site.
In the modular system
Column, beam and modules meet in the cube and are bolted to one another.

Because the connections remain detachable, modules can be dismantled, recombined and reused elsewhere at any time. The structure stays flexible across its entire life cycle.
A building stops being a final state and becomes a stock of components that can be altered, extended and taken apart again. How much can be reused depends on the condition of the components and on how the fit-out and building services were executed.
